How You Make a Difference As a Medication Technician, you work under the guidance of a licensed nurse to deliver accurate, high‑quality medical support to our elderly residents. You review daily medication orders, administer medications according to schedule and dosage, and assist residents with personal needs such as bathing, skincare, and dressing changes. You maintain a supportive and respectful environment, encouraging independence while providing compassionate care.
OUR IDEAL MEDICATION TECHNICIAN
Current caregiver certification
Completion of designated training programs as prescribed by the wellness director or supervisor
Excellent communication skills
Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, and resident transfers
A genuine passion for working with seniors and a commitment to upholding their dignity and privacy
