We are looking for a passionate Service Technician to provide exceptional rider service, support sales, and enhance customer experience in our retail store.
Job Summary As the front‑line expert, you will interact with riders, diagnose issues, and offer solutions from a pre‑set service menu or custom repair. You will work closely with teammates, mentor customers, and drive profitability through outstanding in‑store brand experiences.
How You’ll Make a Difference
Meet riders, ask qualifying questions, and listen to their needs to provide tailored options from the service menu.
Speak authoritatively on technical matters and serve as the expert for product and service questions.
Deliver enthusiastic, courteous “wow” customer service.
Accurately record service work orders and schedule repairs to exceed rider expectations.
Advises customers on product/service selection without bias.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all merchandise and stay current with new product lines.
Assist with bike sales, technical consulting, and general floor duties as needed.
Ensure high levels of rider satisfaction and ongoing service.
Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the day and perform light janitorial duties.
Use Lightspeed POS systems and store operational websites efficiently.
Provide regular, dependable attendance and punctuality, including weekends as directed by business needs.
What You Need To Win
Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand.
Bike shop / bike mechanic experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills with both riders and teammates.
Ability to work weekends and irregular hours.
Capacity to stand for extended periods; walk, kneel, or reach as required.
Capability to lift at least 50 lbs. with proper lifting technique.
