Sales Account Executive (Laboratory Testing Services) – Eurofins Built Environment Testing East – Northeast The Sales Account Executive is a client-facing outside sales role operating within an assigned region of the Northeast. This position involves identifying and managing client accounts and business opportunities for Eurofins Built Environment Testing. Built Environment provides Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) testing (e.g., mold, asbestos, Legionella).

Responsibilities

Travel within the region to meet with clients; develop new business and cultivate existing relationships.

Identify opportunities, follow up on leads, negotiate, and close deals to grow the business.

Provide a point of contact between customers and Eurofins, communicating needs to internal teams and working with management, operations, technical staff, quoters, and project managers.

Establish and maintain productive relationships with Eurofins clients and represent Eurofins services to new customers and markets.

Demonstrate knowledge of environmental laboratory testing, specifically indoor air quality testing, USP797 testing, or Legionella testing as applicable.

Account Executive responsibilities

Meet individual revenue targets and regional goals.

Maintain productive client-laboratory relationships and increase awareness of Eurofins Environment Testing capabilities.

Provide sales forecasts for the assigned region and manage credit reviews for bids or proposals.

Monitor accounts receivable and resolve collection issues as needed.

Develop pricing strategies, negotiate Master Service Agreements, and provide budgetary information.

Develop client profiles, qualify leads, track opportunities, and close deals to increase revenue.

Maintain customer databases and communicate opportunities to internal teams.

Coordinate with Customer Service Managers and Project Managers to ensure successful delivery of work.

Prepare summaries of sales development activities and provide market feedback to support new product/services development.

Assist with pricing clarity, bid/no bid decisions, and win/loss analyses; follow up on outstanding bids and inquiries.

Represent Eurofins Environment Testing as a network of laboratories to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

Degree in Sciences or related field preferred but not required.

Minimum 2-3 years of progressively successful sales experience in a service industry.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory (some overnight travel may be required).

Environmental industry knowledge.

Valid driver’s license.

The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:

Sales skills in prospecting, interviewing, negotiating, and closing deals.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Sales acumen, lab experience, and familiarity with environmental industry concepts.

Ability to work in a self-directed manner in an unstructured environment.

Requirements & Additional Information:

Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Location & Schedule

This is a full-time role (Monday – Friday). Candidates residing in the Northeastern U.S. are encouraged to apply.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: base plus commission with benefits, PTO, and company matching 401K. Salary could be higher for candidates with specific sales experience in environmental testing (e.g., IAQ).
