Legal Assistant – Probate and Estate Planning
A mid‑sized Tucson, Arizona law firm seeks a qualified, detail‑oriented Part‑Time Legal Assistant. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of probate and estate planning experience, strong administrative and organizational skills, and a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys within the probate and estate planning practice. Manage attorney calendars, schedule client appointments, meetings, and court deadlines. Organize and maintain client files and related documentation in accordance with firm procedures. Draft, format, and finalize estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other legal instruments. Prepare deeds, contracts, and various types of agreements with accuracy and attention to detail. Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and other third parties on behalf of the attorney. Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably with a probate and estate planning focus. Strong initiative, reliability, and organizational abilities with capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Superior attention to detail and a high standard for proofreading and document formatting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Compensation and Benefits
