Job Description
Verifies patient identifiers and nutrition orders daily, facilitates order clarifications, and creates patient labels.
Manages nutrition recipes, verifies recipes with the registered dietitian, publishes verified recipes for storage, and makes discharge recipes available.
Prepares infant and pediatric formulas using verified recipes, including ready‑to‑feed liquid, liquid concentrate, powder, modular components, and human milk. Inventories human milk supplies and orders donor human milk from the milk bank.
Collects, receives, packages, labels, and stores human milk utilizing the electronic health record, fortifies and supplements human milk with liquid and powder fortifier, modulars, and infant formula.
Distributes labeled infant feedings to patient area refrigerators, removes expired human milk and formula preparations, and records temperatures for nutrition room and patient area refrigerators and heating equipment.
Qualification Requirements Associate Nutrition and Dietetics Technician Registered (NDTR) - Accredited Issuing Body, Nutrition and Dietetics Technician Registered (NDTR) - Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range $15.46 - $24.73
