The Ford Agency is seeking a temporary Legal Recruiting Assistant for one of New York's top corporate law firms. The Assistant will support all aspects of attorney hiring, including on-campus recruitment, callback interviews, and the summer associate program. This role is well suited to candidates with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism. This is a fantastic 6 month temporary opportunity for a developing recruiting professional to gain hands‑on experience in a highly regarded firm!
Responsibilities Include
Schedule callback interviews, track school‑specific offers, and greet candidates during interviews
Provide office tours and serve as a point of contact for applicants
Assist, track, and attend law student recruiting and summer associate program events
Enter and maintain detailed candidate information into database
Liaise with summer associates to address inquiries and support program activities
Provide general administrative and project support to the recruiting team
Qualifications Include
1+ years professional work experience, law firm experience a plus
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); viDesktop experience a plus
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys and staff
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
Professional judgment, maturity, and discretion handling confidential information
This is a temp-to-hire opening and is available immediately. Candidates for this position must be based in the NYC area or have independent plans for relocation.
