AboundHealth is seeking Pre-Professionals to work as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). This role offers flexible schedules (mornings, evenings, weekends) that you can build around your classes.

A Day in the Life

You will gain direct, hands‑on experience in high‑value skills that will set you apart in your field:

Patient Care & Support:

Assist with activities of daily living, personal care, and mobility.

Healthcare Skills:

Gain experience in medication administration, wound care, and monitoring physical and mental health needs.

Case Management & Advocacy:

Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Support Plans (ISPs), serve as a patient advocate, and help individuals navigate community resources.

Clinical Documentation:

Complete all necessary documentation of care, service provision, and medication logs, a critical skill in all healthcare fields.

Behavioral Support:

Learn to implement positive behavior supports and de‑escalation strategies.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a program in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Pre-Med, child education, or a related human services field.

A strong desire to learn and gain hands‑on healthcare experience.

Excellent communication, accountability, and time management skills.

A High School Diploma or GED.

A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
