Maintenance Technician

Location: 9960 Alliance Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242
Shift/Hours: Nights, 10:45 pm – 6:45 am. Work 6 days a week with 1 day off per week (day off could be the same day each week).
Pay: $29.79 – $37.23 per hour

Opportunity Perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems including PLCs.
Responsibilities
Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently.
Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems.
Work on motors, conveyors, AC/DC, and PLC troubleshooting.
Work with steam and boiler controls, and mechanical power drives.
Perform predictive and preventative maintenance activities.
Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Complete timely and accurate paperwork.
Qualifications
Strong electrical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience.
Experience with troubleshooting in a production/manufacturing environment.
Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3‑phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls and power transmission systems.
Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives.
Ability to install and troubleshoot basic 3‑phase motor control circuits.
Knowledge of various sensor types and limit switches.
Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
PLC troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability preferred.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
Computer‑literate with Microsoft environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Can work independently in a professional manner.
Can work weekends and overtime.
Basic math skills and basic technology/computer skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; military training or technical school preferred.
Corrugated background a plus.
