Warehouse Associate - Equipment Operator .
Hourly Rate $19.50
Responsibilities
Uses power industrial equipment to load and unload, move or stack materials or products.
Operates manual or electric carts in order to fill orders.
From the receiving area, scan and count items and load on cart.
Stock items appropriately by location and quantity.
Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and put them in the proper location on the shelves.
Check off merchandise as received.
Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet.
Assist in pulling parts during busy times.
Work with stock manager to address any problems with orders.
Miscellaneous projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1-2 years experience operating power industrial equipment.
Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
Understanding Map Locations.
Sorting by alpha or numeric.
Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
Focus and remain on task in a fast‑paced environment.
Attention to detail.
Great communication skills.
Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach.
Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance.
May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
Time management skills.
Able to work well under pressure.
Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors.
Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time.
1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.
Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
