Your Role at KIK
This 2nd Shift position operates from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am. You’ll play a key role in ensuring materials and products are received, allocated, stored, and documented to standards. You’ll be a contributor to the success of our plant, bringing expertise to an environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
Safely operate forklift and material handling equipment.
Perform inventory functions, including cycle counts, physical inventory, and product checks.
Load and receive materials from trailers.
Load, store, move materials in and out of racking.
Perform loading documentation in accordance with Hazmat rules.
Operate and use the plant’s warehouse management system/RFID.
Perform packing/quality checks and documentation as required.
Hand‑stack palletized product to maintain smooth facility operation.
Be responsible for the final quality of every unit placed into a customer’s shipper; check with the Team Leader when unsure.
Be responsible for safety and housekeeping in the immediate work area; clean and report unsafe conditions.
Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Comply with GMP, SOPs, safety standards, and all plant policies and procedures.
Other related duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
Able to visually concentrate, remain alert, and listen for extended periods.
Able to stand, sit, lift, bend, crouch, reach, and climb consistently for twelve hours.
Able to grasp and manipulate various packaging components (sprayers, bottles, caps).
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be able to work in accordance with health and safety and GMP regulations.
Must be able to lift 45 lb from floor to shoulder level.
Must be able to work overtime where necessary.
Minimum of 2 years forklift experience.
Must be able to safely operate the forklift around co‑workers, other forklifts, and mechanical and electrical equipment for up to 12 hours.
Possibility of working around unpleasant odors.
Working in non‑temperature‑controlled environment, including high temperatures and humidity for extended periods.
Possibility of working around high noise levels, depending on location.
Constant interaction with a variety of chemicals and chemical products.
