Art School Director – One River School of Art + Design New schools opening soon in Ocean, Monmouth and Union Counties. One River School of Art + Design was founded 10 years ago with the goal of building a community for contemporary art in the suburbs through engaging educational programs and partnerships with living contemporary artists.

Position Overview:

The School Director is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service for students and parents, combining a passion for art education with an entrepreneurial spirit to grow, nourish, and enhance the school community.

Position Highlights School Community

Manage full‑time and part‑time staff, setting goals to retain and grow student community.

Collaborate with educators to drive best classroom experiences through teacher recruitment, onboarding, training, lesson plan execution and engagement.

Drive student retention by ensuring great classroom experiences, proper onboarding, parent communication, and developing new methods for increasing retention, referrals and loyalty.

Community Outreach

Maximize student enrollment through proactive marketing, daily lead follow‑up, closing new inquiries and conducting school tours.

Execute and analyze local advertising efforts, including events, partnerships, press and outreach to grow enrollment and community engagement.

Develop new partnerships with local businesses, schools, PTAs and community members to drive enrollment and maintain an active local presence.

Community Space

Curate, promote and execute professional and community exhibitions in the gallery and cultivate local art collectors.

Ensure the building is well maintained and well equipped at all times.

Business Management

Track income, expenses and revenue, troubleshooting any issues.

Set achievable revenue goals for the business in collaboration with upper management.

Benefits

Competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $75,000, with quarterly bonuses of $8,000–$12,000 based on performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a visual arts related field from an accredited, four‑year college or university (required).

Master’s Degree in Business, Art History or Education (preferred).

5+ years of leadership/management experience in a service‑industry setting.

Strong interpersonal, networking, collaboration and relationship‑building skills.

Construction Project Director – BluSky Restoration BluSky Restoration seeks a highly compensated Construction Project Director to estimate, close sales, and manage restoration projects. Base salary $70,000–$100,000, with uncapped commission potential up to $200,000. Vehicle allowance provided.

Principal Accountabilities

Sales, revenue, profit margins, AR & collections.

Managing near‑term opportunities, business development, estimating proficiency, customer satisfaction.

Coordinating with internal teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

Meet or exceed monthly and yearly sales goals.

Negotiate and execute contracts.

Sell all services offered by BluSky.

Convert opportunities into sales and track them in CRM.

Ensure timely deposit, progress, and final billings.

Provide oversight to Project Managers on revenue production.

Maintain accurate project budgets and improve profitability.

Lead AR & collections, handle invoicing, payment terms, and aging reviews.

Assist clients and claims handlers to close leads and document communication.

Attend business development meetings twice weekly.

Participate in special events (luncheons, trade shows, award dinners).

Coordinate estimating, including sketching, use of Xactimate and Matterport.

Maintain weekly communication with stakeholders and ensure updates.

Coordinate with mitigation, reconstruction, business development, and account teams for site visits, change orders, and invoicing.

Qualifications & Requirements

5+ years of recent marketing/business development and sales experience in the restoration or construction industry.

Extensive construction estimating and/or large loss and catastrophe experience.

Availability for business development networking 2–3 evenings per week.

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Experience with Xactimate and other estimating software (preferred).

Social media experience such as LinkedIn (preferred).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong knowledge of project management, financial processes and administration.

OSHA 10 or 30, CPR and First Aid certifications (preferred).

Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred).

Travel Minimal out‑of‑state travel; occasional overnight trips for training, meetings or jobs.
