Data Center Technician
A large Data Center in Boardman, OR is hiring a Data Center Technician to join the team for a great opportunity!
Job Summary You will serve as one of many primary resolvers for your support team skillfully troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware infrastructure issues. You support and share knowledge of these technologies with team members, possess basic to intermediate system administration skills, and work autonomously to resolve server issues. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support, take direction when given, pay close attention to details, work well with a team, and are receptive to feedback, adjusting performance and behavior as required for the position.
Job Duties
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of server hardware and networking equipment.
Execute routine hardware installations, upgrades, and decommissioning tasks.
Monitor and respond to system alerts and elevate issues as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and inventory used.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure operational excellence.
Qualifications
1–2 years of prior IT related experience with previous data center/cabling experience.
Strong cabling experience (coax, fiber, copper, cat5, cat6, punch downs, etc.).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong work ethic.
Willingness to commute to Boardman, Umatilla, and Hermiston, OR.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
