Position Overview We are seeking dependable individuals to join us at our new two-year-old facility in Front Royal, Virginia. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor. The Shipping & Receiving Dock Operator will ensure safe and accurate staging, loading, and unloading food-products at both the cold and ambient docks utilizing a Forklift truck, will also assist on daily cycle counts.
Key Responsibilities
Promote Safety First
Stage pallets with food-product in the freezer
Check and count freight for accuracy
Take Stock Counts as needed
Direct product to correct area in the warehouse
Load and Unload Refrigerated truck loads
Load and Unload Ambient-Dry trucks
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of inventory data
The Ideal Candidate
Must be able to work in a negative 10 degrees Fahrenheit cold storage environment.
Forklift Certified
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Must have excellent attention to detail
Experience with Food Products
Must have inventory experience for cycle counting
Experience with scanning, WMS, and Warehouse layout
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Bilingual is a plus!
Work Location & Working Conditions This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Front Royal, VA facility.
The schedule is Monday to Friday
1st Shift - 6:15am-3:15pm
Mid Shift - 12:00pm-8:30pm
Mid Shift Differential = $0.50/hour
Work is performed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to cold temperatures, loud machinery, and strict food safety protocols. The role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
