Designer - Girl's Activewear

Our client, a fast growing Apparel Company, is looking for an Activewear Designer to join their team in NYC! Qualifications: 5+ years of design experience in athleisure and/or activewear A strong sense of color and keen attention to detail Passion, motivation, and a collaborative spirit Strong communication and organizational skills Solid understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and trims Excellent sketching and illustration skills Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM systems Responsibilities: Partner with the Design Director to shape seasonal concepts, select key items, and build cohesive color palettes and fabric/trim assortments Stay ahead of industry trends by researching seasonal themes, materials, and silhouettes for the activewear and athleisure categories Work closely with Technical Design to create accurate specs and ensure design integrity from development through final production Participate in fittings and provide feedback alongside the Design Director Support production by ensuring the final product aligns with the original design vision and timeline
