CentralStar is seeking a full-time Training Specialist to support our team and customers in delivering comprehensive reproductive-management training. Reporting to the Recruiting and Hiring Manager, this position plays a key role in developing and implementing training programs for team members and customer herds, focusing on artificial insemination (A.I.), heat detection, and related herd-management practices. The ideal candidate is an experienced A.I. technician or reproductive specialist with strong communication and teaching skills, who enjoys helping others develop confidence and technical proficiency in the field. Day-to-day responsibilities:

Develop and deliver training programs for CentralStar team members, customers, and prospective customers focused on A.I., heat detection, and related reproductive-management practices. Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and continued training of A.I. Specialists and Team A.I. Technicians. Conduct in-field and classroom instruction, focusing on practical-skill development and continuous improvement. Provide emergency-A.I.-service support, as needed, when area specialists are unavailable. Support sales and service efforts related to genetics, herd-management products, and diagnostic-testing options. Maintain accurate records, training documentation, and inventory as needed. Participate in cooperative events, training, and professional-development opportunities. Demonstrate strong communication and customer-service skills, responding to inquiries and assisting customers in a timely, professional manner. Foster collaboration and uphold CentralStar’s mission, vision, culture, and values through everyday interactions and decision‑making. Qualifications:

Proven success in reproductive management or related field, with five or more years of experience required; Bachelor’s degree in animal science, agri‑business, or related field preferred, but not required; equivalent experience considered; Strong knowledge of bovine reproduction, artificial insemination, and cattle‑handling protocols; Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills; Highly motivated and self‑directed, with strong time management and organizational abilities; Proficiency in dairy‑management software (e.g., DairyComp 305, DART, BoviSync, etc.) and general computer applications (Microsoft Office, etc.); Polished skills in the use of heat‑detection systems (i.e. CowManager); Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; and Ability to lift and carry objects up to 120 pounds, travel frequently, and work in various farm environments.
