Position Summary HII's Mission Technologies is seeking a Senior Operations Research Analyst. This role resides in the F‑35 Lightning II Program, Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program Office (JSFPO) and shall provide robust support for the implementation and integration of comprehensive sustainment strategies for the F‑35 sustainment system capable of delivering enhanced warfighter readiness. Additionally, the role involves operationalizing key sustainment capabilities such as Demand Planning and Forecasting and item management. Furthermore, it will require integration with the implementing plan for the supply support capabilities, including financial flows, organization, and operating model. Ultimately, the role will assist with the successful execution of a comprehensive change management strategy to drive long‑term transition success to meet F‑35 readiness goals.
What You Will Do
Apply technical knowledge of product support and Program Management.
Monitor the development and integration of capabilities and new solutions that address the F‑35 readiness challenges.
Support the planning and development of analytically driven transition plans to achieve F‑35 GSS sustainment reset objectives.
Monitor Log It and design and implementation of a logistics information system.
Collaborate with the planning effort for the development of a Supply Support effort.
Facilitate knowledge transfer of analytical findings for solutions designed to improve F‑35 readiness challenges.
Monitor risks resulting from a rapid transition of revised supply chain concepts and maintenance strategies into an improved sustainment construct.
Minimum Qualifications
15 years relevant experience with a Bachelors in a related field; 13 years with a Masters; 10 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
Experience with gathering, analyzing and presenting the data.
5+ years of experience in operations, program management, or a similar role within the Defense industry, preferably with experience supporting a product management function.
Ability to provide executive‑level briefings and reports.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities and tasks.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage complex projects, processes and timelines effectively.
Clearance – Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance.
Preferred Requirements
Experience with Product Support Management at the Program Office level.
Experience with the implementation of technical processes to solve supply chain management challenges.
Display strong collaboration skills to work with government partners and private industry.
Demonstrate exceptional communications skills.
Experience with 3‑5 years of managing complex government programs.
Program Planning.
PowerPoint presentations for 2‑3 Star Generals.
Experience with 3‑5 year planning and briefings.
Physical Requirements
