Customer Service Specialist I, B2B & B2C (Onsite)
Weedmaps is seeking a Customer Service Specialist I to support our B2B partners (Dispensaries and Delivery clients) and B2C users. This on‑site role is located in Austin, TX and requires a 5‑day workweek.

Overview The Customer Service Specialist I will deliver high‑quality customer service, building trust, support, and loyalty. Responsibilities include:
Good written and verbal communication skills (bilingual a plus)
Provide clear, professional, friendly communications to end‑users and internal contacts throughout troubleshooting
Diagnose customer‑reported technical, pre‑ and post‑sales issues via phone, email, and chat
Escalate issues internally when they cannot be resolved through normal steps
Assess content against Weedmaps policies and take action on reviews/forum posts that require moderation
Provide detailed notes on each customer interaction
Adhere to the schedule; assigned shifts may include evenings, weekends, and some holidays
Participate in User Acceptance Testing and report defects
Identify and share enhancement requests from clients
Follow all standard operating procedures
What You’ll Accomplish
1+ years of customer service experience supporting B2B clients
Good communication skills, written and verbal
Efficient organization and ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
Rapidly adapt to new responsibilities and expectations in a growing company
Work independently using systematic troubleshooting, judgment, and problem‑solving skills
Bonus Points
Experience with Salesforce
A passion for the cannabis industry
Account management experience
Bilingual written and verbal Spanish
Experience with Jira or other ticketing systems
Experience with Gmail & Google Suite
Technical aptitude related to SaaS products
Compensation The base pay range for this position is $20.17 – $22.12 per hour.
