JOB SUMMARY
This position contacts a territory of dealerships to facilitate product training and improve sales consultant performance. The trainer works with a comprehensive knowledge of GM brands, vision, and training priorities to conduct in-dealership training and coaching.
Duties And Responsibilities
Conduct training sessions in accordance with performance standards
Responsible for product training and performance support within assigned GM dealerships
Develop and manage schedule to support dealer needs while working with regional personnel on direction and priorities
Conduct special training assignments and facilitate large group meetings as required
Conduct launch training events as required
Conduct on-going product study and competitive reviews
Submit schedules, rosters, activity reports and expense reports according to performance standards
Job Qualifications
3-5 years automotive related or automotive retail experience or commensurate experience
In-depth knowledge of vehicle technology, light duty truck fundamentals, trailering and infotainment systems
Strong communication skills
Strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills
Organizational skills
Computer skills/literacy and proficiency with PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
LOGISTICS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
80% travel>
Provide training within dealerships and meeting locations
Home office based
Reside within assigned territory
