Manufacturing Technician II

Job Summary The role is focused on restoring pumps to their original state, troubleshooting components, using hand tools, and ensuring compliance through accurate documentation.
Essential Functions
Follows procedures and performs the various steps contained within the procedure in order to return the pump to its original state and to assure a quality end product.
Troubleshoots various components of the pump.
Able to work with various hand tools.
Performs limited technical aspects of the repair, production, and/or restock process.
Completes all documentation needed for quality compliance.
Qualifications
Can identify small electronic components and differentiate them using their markings.
Can work under stressful production demands, demonstrates teamwork and cooperation.
Reads and follows written work instructions, manipulates small parts, and assembles or disassembles a medical device using small hand tools.
Performs assigned tasks with minimal supervision, including required documentation needed for compliance.
Displays good judgment, a positive attitude, and a high level of initiative.
Is willing and able to learn production/repair assembly procedures and drawings.
Has basic computer skills.
Can work in a fast‑paced work environment to meet daily targets.
Can perform basic mathematical calculations.
Can transcribe data accurately.
Is proficient in reading and writing English.
Can visually inspect and identify particulate/foreign matter and distinguish between colors as required by FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices.
Education & Experience
High School diploma or GED.
Preferred: experience in mechanical or electrical repair in a manufacturing setting.
Physical Demands
Must sit or stand for most of the workday.
Needs good hand‑to‑eye coordination and dexterity.
Dynamic lifting: lift and carry 15 lb. from floor to shoulder and lift 2 lb. from shoulder to overhead; push or pull a maximum force of 6 lb.
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment regulated by the FDA and other work rules to protect product integrity.
Requires wearing a static protective smock and grounding wrist strap.
Works in close proximity to other employees.
Compensation Salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local market. Bonuses and incentives may also be included.
