Job Summary Responsible for the Park Services operation for the theme park, back‑of‑house team member areas, parking lot and resort perimeter roadways within Universal Kids Resort. Provides direction and development to reporting team members as well as indirect supervision to front‑line team. Facilitates the hiring, training, and scheduling of hourly team members and supports seasonal sustainment initiatives.

Responsibilities

Manages the daily operation of Park Services within the resort and is accountable for operation including but not limited to Guest/client service, cleanliness, show quality, sustainability, safety, training/development, and finances. Maintains a physical presence in the field on a routine basis to monitor area and team to ensure quality, safety, and service meet standards and are consistently delivered. Searches for ways to improve overall efficiency of operation. Performs the duties of frontline Team Members by assisting with cleaning tasks as necessary to ensure adherence to Universal standards.

Oversees resort‑wide cleanliness operation and initiatives to ensure they meet Universal, and city of Frisco standards related to the resort perimeter roadways. Approves weekly schedules for distribution to Team Members. Effectively handles and properly reports any incidents, Team Member/ Guest issues and operational deficiencies. Plans for and efficiently executes events and requests made by other departments.

Responsible for the hiring, training, coaching, development, and mentoring to all Team Members. Provides timely feedback to Team Members to promote a safe and respectful work environment for other Team Members and Guests. Establishes initiatives and ensures Supervisors are executing those initiatives to increase Team Member Satisfaction (TSAT) and Guest Satisfaction (GSAT) according to plan/strategy. Develops and maintains strong work relationships with UKR operational partners to provide operational support.

Enforces department policies and procedures, inclusive of training and safety, while working with the Manager to identify and develop new departmental policies and procedures. Ensures proper training programs are developed, implemented and maintained. Collaborates within and outside of department to maintain the upkeep of all restaurants, attractions, and merchandise locations as well as back‑of‑house buildings.

Responsible for providing duty manager coverage for an assigned area and/or the park. Duties will include responding to escalated situations and making the proper notifications to UKR leadership. Assists with seasonal initiatives and sustainment efforts as directed.

Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Information

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

At times, this individual may cover an area with multiple venues depending on scheduling and business needs. This individual will manage daily labor budgets and is responsible for the safe, efficient and friendly operation of the venues daily as well as the safety of the Team Members who work at these venues.

Must be able to work a flexible and varying schedule based on business needs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Experience

2+ years of janitorial, park services, or hospitality experience with 1+ years of supervisory experience is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
