Job Summary The Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for growing and fostering existing relationships internally and externally to develop the commercial fleet, shuttle, bus, and van sales out of the Elgin IL Model 1 Dealership. This role focuses on business‑to‑business sales of commercial vehicles, upfitting, and scheduled maintenance to grow revenue and profit of the Elgin, IL Model 1 Dealership.

Duties and Responsibilities
Prospecting – Telemarketing, in‑person cold calls, demonstrating vehicles at the dealership and at prospects’ locations.
Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service.
Identify advantages and compare organizations’ products/services.
Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing return on time investment.
Provide management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Log all marketing activities in HubSpot customer relationship management software.
Stay abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through relevant literature and collaboration with marketing and technical service areas.
Provide pre‑ and post‑sales support to customers.
Collaborate with parts, service, finance, and operations to support and grow the Elgin IL location.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Demonstrated aptitude for problem‑solving; ability to determine solutions for customers.
Results‑oriented and able to work independently and within a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and contact management software.
Outside sales experience preferred.
Fleet/ commercial vehicle industry experience a plus.
Valid driver’s license.
Pay Range: $50,000 – $120,000
