RF Systems Analysis Engineer

What You Will Be Doing
Conducting RF requirements analyses and executing trade studies to optimize system performance
Analyzing test data, including signal post-processing, visualization, and comparison with modeled data
Performing statistical analysis to evaluate key performance parameters of a passive RF sensor, such as estimating parameters of an assumed probability distribution
Using computing tools like MATLAB for simulation and analysis
Evaluating sensor performance to ensure it meets passive sensor requirements

Location This position is in Orlando.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related STEM field
Active DoD Secret Clearance is required, therefore you must be a US Citizen
Experience in RF sensor data analysis, signal processing, or related aerospace/defense work
Proficiency in MATLAB (tool development, scripting, code review, etc.)
Understanding of antenna theory, RF sensors, RF front end architectures, signal and digital processing, and sensing modalities
Strong programming abilities, particularly in Python and C++; familiarity with data handling libraries (NumPy, pandas, etc.)
Familiarity with algorithm design, including RF signal and digital processing (CFAR/detection, False Alarm Rate (FAR), waveform/PRF selection, variable range resolution, etc.), scheduling/resource management, trackers, Kalman filters, optimization, etc.
Desired Skills
Experience with hardware in the loop (HWIL) test setups
Exposure to flight, HWIL, and high fidelity simulation data environments
Experience with GitLab (branching, CI/CD, merge request workflow)
Aptitude for learning on the job
Top Secret Clearance
Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
Work Schedule Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
Experience Level Experienced Professional.
Employment Type Full-Time, First Shift.
