Pediatric Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider - Manchester, CT PM Pediatrics is the largest pediatric urgent care network in the United States. Founded and led by PEM physicians, we provide an alternative to emergency care for children in a private practice setting with on‑site lab, radiology, and specialty consultations. The schedule is flexible with no overnight shifts, and there is opportunity for protected time for leadership, education, and research.

Responsibilities

Manage acutely ill and injured pediatric patients, including procedural care.

Provide care in a state‑of‑the‑art, child‑friendly environment with on‑site lab and radiology.

Assist in working with specialty consultations (e.g., plastic surgery, orthopedics) when necessary.

Focus on the needs of patients without primary or ongoing preventative care.

Job Description We are looking for Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our rapidly growing practice. Critical thinking, multitasking, and teamwork are essential. In addition to patient care, there are opportunities for administrative, teaching, and research involvement.

Qualifications

Pediatric experience; experience in pediatric emergency, intensive care, or urgent care preferred.

Comfortable with minor surgical procedures, including suturing.

Master’s of Science in Nursing, Doctoral degree in Nursing, or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of application.

Board certificate by ANCC or NCCPA.
