KIPP Impact Academy: Kindergarten – 8th grade
KIPP VOICE Academy: Kindergarten – 8th grade
KIPP Bessie Coleman Academy: Kindergarten – 8th grade
KIPP Bold City High School: 9th – 12th grade
School and Staff Hours
K-8 Staff: 7:30am – 4:30pm; K-8 Students: 8:00am – 3:30pm (Wednesday dismissal 1:30pm)
High School Staff: 6:45am – 3:45pm; High School Students: 7:15am – 2:30pm (Wednesday dismissal 12:30pm)
Every Wednesday is a student early release day for professional development. Wellness Wednesdays allow all staff to leave at student dismissal.
Job Description KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools seeks Learning Specialists for the 2025-26 school year. The LS ensures compliance with Individual Education Plans (IEPs), teaches small groups, facilitates general education settings, works with families, and supports the RtI process. They work across multiple grade levels and facilitate IEP meetings.
All Learning Specialists are responsible for creating a positive classroom environment, implementing curriculum, assessing students, collaborating with their team, building relationships with families, and other duties as assigned. Full teacher responsibilities are outlined by the School Principal.
Compensation & Benefits Starting salary for a first-year Learning Specialist: $50,000.

Individualized coaching and professional development for lead teachers
Stipends for new‑to‑KIPP instructional staff and TSIA stipends (eligible if FLDOE certification)

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Relevant Florida Teaching Certification or Eligibility for Certification (ESE K‑12)
At least one complete year of teaching experience with a proven record in high achievement

Deep commitment to racial and educational equity for all children
Passing a background check, as required by law (Florida House Bill 531)

Highly Preferred Qualifications
Florida Reading Endorsement or reading competency coursework in progress
Additional certifications in K‑6 or other subject area supported by LS
Two or more years of teaching experience with a proven record of high achievement
