In this position, the selector pulls case orders using an electric pallet jack, organizes product by assignment, and loads items onto the designated route in a fast‑paced warehouse team environment.
Responsibilities
Selects orders assigned by the operations clerk and loads them onto the proper route.
Performs other job functions as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
Education:
Prefer High School or GED.
Experience:
Preferred 1-year related experience. Electric pallet jack experience preferred.
Professional Skills:
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment for long periods in a cooler environment.
Physical Demands
Frequent lifting of a product up to 50 lbs during the shift; infrequent lifting up to 80 lbs.
Must be able to climb on and off powered industrial equipment.
Regularly bend, squat, push, and pull.
Work Environment
Must be able to work in confined spaces.
Decision-Making Authority
Selecting the appropriate items from the correct slot (fully independent).
Anything that the selector is unsure of doing requires review and approval of a supervisor.
