Utility Inspection Technician

Responsibilities
Check gas meters for leaks and corrosion; conduct visual inspections.
Ensure all required paperwork and data are completed and accurately filed.
Report to the designated work area on time at the start of each shift.
Identify abnormal operating conditions during inspections and fill out all associated forms (electronic or paper).
Work daylight full‑time with potential overtime and weekend shifts; instructor‑led training provided.
Qualifications
Proficient with current technology; smartphone, tablet.
Effective communicator in one‑on‑one and group settings.
Ability to work long hours, weekends and all weather conditions outdoors.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Reliable vehicle required.
Basic hand tool use and utility map reading skills.
