Role Overview The
Reliability Technician
ensures production equipment and systems are maintained such that they are available to deliver quality products according to schedule requirements. This is accomplished by ensuring maintenance processes are efficient and effective, equipment is designed and/or modified to improve maintainability, and reviewing ongoing technical problems for continual improvement to reduce downtime and increase the life of the asset.
What You'll Do Reliability and Maintenance
Support Reliability/Industrial Engineers with structured system analysis to establish reliability, availability, and maintainability of the plant systems
Drive and execute the reliability engineering methods to achieve company reliability objectives
Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to gather data for identifying machinery defects early enough to schedule repairs during planned downtime
Provide vibration and reliability technical support
Write work requests in CMMS for issues found during routes or database analysis
Create maintenance plans for new and existing equipment
Create and evaluate spare part packages for new equipment and existing equipment
Update PM tasks and schedules in computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Create and update spare part lists in CMMS
Lead in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for preventative maintenance and equipment rebuild activities
Lead maintenance and spare part optimizations
Lead risk management, loss elimination, and RCA workshops; drive implementations and follow‑ups
Develop and execute engineering studies for equipment related issues
Determine methods of storage, identification, and location of stocked materials
Establish new processes for continuous improvement and drive stock room projects
Work with vendors to get items refurbished and establish inventory of refurbished items
Record Keeping and Reporting
Create and update system or component reliability analysis engineering documents
Upload and maintain OEM equipment documentation
Update equipment list using SAP and/or Maintenance Connection; create labels for equipment and update machine specifications
Spare Parts
Work directly with Reliability Engineer and stock room coordinator to establish kitting lists for corrective and preventative work order
Establish spare part stock quantities
Receive requests for internal orders, including equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, tools, etc.
Request quotes and lead times for new materials and parts
Complete request forms for new materials and parts
Verify appropriate approvals for the addition of new materials and parts
Other
Support Stockroom coordinator duties as required and/or assigned
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
Drive the development of AR/VR maintenance related activities
Attend meetings as required and/or assigned
Special Job Dimensions
Some travel may be required
What We're Looking For Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP
Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate with personnel at all levels of the organization
Ability to work well under deadlines, and work well with a cross‑functional team to accomplish results
Ability to perform with superior service, reflecting a positive company image while sustaining a positive attitude with those you interact with; always going above and beyond to help others out, regardless of their position or department
Ability to adhere to the highest standards of quality while continually performing at the highest possible level
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
High School Diploma
Bachelor’s Degree
OR
5 years of reliability or maintenance experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation Total Rewards Package
Base: $29 - $35 hourly, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
