We are seeking a Cardiac Monitor Technician for our Mission Health Cardiac Monitor Unit.

Job Summary Observes telemetry monitors continuously, recognizes and documents rhythm tracings, and continuously monitors the Cerner Patient Observer (“CPO”), recognizing patient movement and proactively alerting nurses and other caregivers to prevent adverse events including patient falls, patient elopement, patient safety incidents, and visitor monitoring.

Qualifications

Required Education: High School diploma or GED.

Preferred Education: Completion of dysrhythmia course.

Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a health care environment such as CNA, EMT or other related areas. Comparable experience and skills also considered.
