Position Summary Setup, prepare, run, maintain and perform daily preventative maintenance and supply machine related needs. Troubleshoot and solve minor to semi‑complex problems and issues that would otherwise halt operations.

Must be able to perform these responsibilities on 2‑4 of the following machines utilized for production:

Fiber Optic Plate Laser

Fiber Optic Tube Laser

Fiber Optic Combo Laser

CNC Press Brakes

CNC Mandrel Tubing Bender

Manual Tubing Bender

Position Responsibilities

Setup and prepare machinery for production.

Full knowledge of how to read blueprints, customer drawings and all technical information.

Load/unload fixtures, load the correct raw materials with their respective programs for machine set up.

Maintains better than average productivity.

Maintains high accuracy on all functions.

Mentors other employees. Aids in the overall upkeep and cleanliness of the manufacturing side of production.

Works on moderate scope of machinery set‑up complexity.

Able to keep all jobs coming through the shop well organized for all post‑processes that follow after they complete their tasks/jobs.

Has the ability to identify potential issues and resolve efficiently. Escalates issues to supervisor only when out of their knowledge base to resolve.

Provides guidance or direction, training, and technical assistance to junior level support.

Contributes to employee development.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

Ability to read and understand blueprints, customer drawings, and all technical information.

Strong mechanical, technical and analytical skills.

Position Qualifications Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

2+ years of experience with machinery in a production or machine shop environment required.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Manufacturing Environment.

Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.

Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time.

Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer.
