What You’ll Do As a Sales Associate, you will be dedicated to understanding customers’ needs and offering meaningful and unique solutions. When you are not servicing customers, you are actively restocking products, maintaining visual merchandising, fulfilling online orders, and performing cleaning duties. In this key role, you’ll represent the GNC brand by offering and promoting our "Live Well" message to customers.
Proactively greet and welcome every customer that visits GNC and create a welcoming environment to attract new and existing customers.
Interact with customers to help them choose the right products and make based on your product knowledge and their needs.
Achieve and exceed store and personal sales and productivity goals.
Fulfill online orders timely and accurately in compliance with company guidelines.
Keep product knowledge current by learning features, advantages, and benefits and staying informed about nutritional, wellness, and fitness news.
Support store management in opening, closing, and operating the store, including cash handling, inventory count, and maintaining store appearance.
Environmental Factors & Working Schedule
Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting; lift up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 40 lbs occasionally.
Ability to use repetitive hand-to-finger motions and reach with hands and arms.
Work in temperatures ranging from 50–85 degrees.
Use a computer up to 60% of the time throughout the day.
Work nights or mornings to open/close the store and key peak business hours, including weekends and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work varied hours and be flexible to meet store needs.
