Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting that may include dust and debris and can be loud at times. Perform various tasks involved in Roll Mill operation including but not limited to setting up and operating machines, handling parts and materials, packing parts and other related activities using hand tools, various type of packing materials. Must follow all applicable safety procedures to avoid injuries including requests for help from co-workers. Proper handling of finished parts and products to avoid injuries or damage, follow all operational instructions when operating or using tools and equipment. Provide quality checks as determined. Job may require overtime and a flexible schedule, reporting early and working late, including weekends. Shift & Schedule
Shift: 3rd 11:00pm-7:30am Schedule: Monday-Friday Responsibilities
Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Uses computer-controlled equipment to select position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete more complex tasks. May assist with training other machine operators. May calculate and assist with numeric controlled programming. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. Job Requirements
Excellent verbal communication skills with strong aptitude for operating machinery. Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills. Ability to perform repetitive tasks. Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Hi-Lo Certification preferred, will be trained and certified on the hi-lo. (2) years of solid experience in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to clear drug screen and background check. Must have reliable transportation. Physical Needs and Work Environment
