Job Summary A leading adhesive manufacturer with a wide range of branded, private label, and contract‑manufactured adhesives and sealants. Our products are used for product assembly in a wide range of applications and markets, including industrial, engineering, MRO, transportation, automotive, electronics, telecommunications, residential and commercial building construction.

Purpose The Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for obtaining market share by defining and penetrating the markets, identifying opportunities and prospects, and developing relationships to meet or exceed sales growth and profit targets. We are looking for an experienced representative for our Product Assembly Division based in the Southwestern United States, with a strong preference for candidates residing in Texas covering Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

Duties & Responsibilities

Identify, qualify, and pursue new prospective accounts in the OEM and Distribution channels, while maintaining existing customers.

Prepare opportunity lists with monthly updates.

Define the competitor’s market share along with advantages and weaknesses.

Entrepreneurial and results focused to meet sales and profit goals.

Proactively engage with prospects and effectively articulate our value proposition to meet or exceed the customer requirements and performance standards.

Experience working with and managing independent sales agents in a team environment.

Participate in annual planning and sales forecasting process.

Responsible for marketing intelligence gathering: reviews and analyzes market, product performance, and other sales related data.

Establish objectives and priorities, ensuring they support the organization’s business plans.

Service existing and prospective customers through regular visits and correspondence.

Perform adhesive trials and problem solving in the field.

Assist in the preparation and manning of trade show exhibits at agreed upon international, national and regional shows.

Participate in agreed upon professional organizations/societies.

Skills & Abilities

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of professional sales experience.

Experience selling reactive, silicone, or water‑based adhesives through OEM and commercial distribution channels is highly preferred.

Experience within the industrial, MRO, transportation, automotive, telecommunications, residential and commercial building construction markets is a plus.

Up to 75% travel by air and automobile during the course of business to the Southeast; preference for candidates residing in Georgia.

Experience with Microsoft Office software programs.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Location Southwestern United States; preferred candidate living in Texas covering Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

Pay Base salary range: $109,000.00 – $120,000.00 (actual salary may vary based on skills, experience, role, and location).

Bonus Pay Meridian offers a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) for this position.
