Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Talent Acquisition @ Wide Effect Talent Solutions | Enhancing Recruitment Strategies Key Responsibilities:
Perform boundary, topographic, and property surveys for various development projects
Operate GPS equipment, robotic total stations, and other advanced survey tools to collect precise data
Prepare Certified Survey Maps (CSMs), plats of survey, topographic maps, residential site plans, and, occasionally, ALTA surveys and subdivision plats
Research property deeds, records, and titles to confirm boundaries and address any discrepancies
Ensure all survey work adheres to applicable laws, codes, and standards
Collaborate with project teams to provide input during design and construction phases
Organize and maintain all survey data, records, and legal documentation
Assist in permitting processes and represent the company in hearings or legal proceedings, if required
Foster strong relationships with clients through professional communication and reliable service
Requirements
Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Wisconsin
Proficiency with AutoCAD or Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and navigating rough terrain
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in field and office surveying work (preferred)
Strong background in topographic surveys, boundary work, construction staking, and right-of-way plats (preferred)
Deep understanding of Wisconsin statutes and administrative codes related to land surveying and map preparation (preferred)
