What You’ll Do

Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices.

Perform automated maintenance duties such as oil and filter changes, fuel filter changes, transmission flush, spark plug replacement and vehicle inspections.

Test and maintain battery and starting/charging electrical systems.

Repair various components including tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components.

Diagnose and repair brake, steering and suspension systems.

Evacuate and recharge AC systems.

Perform equipment maintenance.

Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts.

Up‑fit new vehicles with necessary equipment.

Comply with procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires and disposable trash.

Who You Are You’re a quick learner—especially when it comes to cars and how they work—and a team player who always arrives at the shop ready to provide excellent work.

Required

1 or more years of related work experience.

The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Preferred

High school diploma or GED.

Current ASE certifications: G1, A4, A5 (when required by leadership).

Hourly base pay rate is $22.07 – $33.13 per hour. The amount may vary within this range based on location and the candidate’s knowledge, skills and abilities. The position may also be eligible for commission and/or incentive programs.

Employees are eligible for a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month, seven paid holidays each year, and additional leave for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer work, military service and parental leave.
