About The Role We are seeking an experienced Dental Biller who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment. In this role, you will play a key part in managing patient financial accounts and ensuring a smooth, accurate billing experience for both patients and insurance providers. Your attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and dental billing expertise will be key to your daily responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Prepare and submit dental claims daily, including detailed narratives and necessary attachments to expedite payment.
Accurately post payments from both patients and insurance companies.
Investigate unpaid or denied claims and collaborate with insurers to resolve issues promptly.
Send patient statements and assist with billing inquiries, explaining insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs.
Run reports and maintain precise and up-to-date patient billing records for compliance.
Work closely with 2-3 office teams to ensure efficient AR processes and revenue cycle operations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years in dental coding and billing, with proficiency in Dentrix, Excel, and (Denticon a plus).
Strong understanding of dental insurance policies, limitations, exclusions, EOBs, and electronic claims submission.
Detail-oriented team player who communicates effectively with both patients and insurance companies.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
