Compensation:
$60-70k annual

Job Purpose The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers concerned with inventorying materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in a stockroom, warehouse, or yard.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors.
Studies records and recommends remedial actions for reported non‑usable, slow moving, and excess stock.
Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures to determine adequacy of stock levels.
Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.
Prepares composite reports from individual reports of Inventory Specialists.
Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions.
Issues written/oral instructions and expedites workflow with team members.
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Oversees inbound associates in their daily tasks and job responsibilities.
Other tasks as assigned by manager.
Additional Responsibilities
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
Responsible for payroll validations for all respective IC and inbound associates.
Utilize computer terminal to properly account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training in a warehouse environment.
Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
Working knowledge of Inventory Control practices; KPI reporting, coordinating cycle‑count programs, product rotation.
PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.
Education and Experience Required
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write reports and correspondence.
Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
