Maintenance Technician III – Getinge – Denver, CO
Join Getinge, a global leader in life‑science technology, as a Maintenance Technician III. This full‑time, non‑exempt role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex sterilization equipment at our Denver facility in Englewood, CO. Hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm with flexibility. Pay is $28–$40 / hr, depending on experience.
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician III provides preventive maintenance and repair services for sterilization and laboratory equipment, following manufacturer instructions and FDA GMP requirements. Responsibilities include routine and emergency maintenance, record keeping, and support for facility operations. Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on sterilizers, printing, shipping, material handling, and office equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic equipment using schematics, system diagrams, and repair procedures. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for FDA, ISO, and other regulatory compliance. Collaborate with Getinge personnel, contractors, and customers to schedule maintenance and resolve issues. Assist with startup, testing, and preventive maintenance on boiler and other plant systems. Follow health and safety codes, quality requirements, and regulatory agency procedures. Required Qualifications
3–4 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience. Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer aptitude, including Microsoft Windows and Office. Ability to read, interpret, and test according to FDA and ISO standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and functional troubleshooting. Experience with electronic wiring, soldering, pipe fitting, and PLC programming preferably. Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to travel nationally for training. Preferred Skills
In‑depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Printing equipment repair experience and knowledge of steam equipment operations. Experience with electronic circuit logics (TTL, MOS, relay ladder logic) and PLC programming. Benefits
