Deposit Operations Specialist – Richmond, VA
ProspectBlue is seeking an experienced Deposit Operations professional to support daily bank operations, including ACH, wires, debit cards, exception processing, digital banking, and core system functions. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of operational issues while supporting branches and internal teams.
Base pay range $55,000.00/yr – $70,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Process and reconcile deposits, ACH, wires, GL accounts, and exception items
Perform research, adjustments, and operational reporting
Support audits, examinations, and regulatory requirements (BSA/AML)
Assist with fraud monitoring, mobile/remote deposits, and digital banking
Collaborate with branches, vendors, and management on operational issues
Qualifications
5+ years of bank operations experience
Strong knowledge of deposit operations and regulatory compliance
Proficient with core processing systems and Microsoft Office
Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
