Senior Staff Logistics Management Analyst (Dog Handler)

Base Pay Range $80,000/yr - $85,000/yr
Responsibilities
Supervises employee training and development programs.
Assists in selecting training tools and delivery mechanisms.
Coordinates workflow within the department and assigns tasks.
Designs assessment tools to measure training program performance and collects data.
Leads and directs the work of other employees; holds authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
Provides instruction to students in the Military Working Dog (MWD) Handler training course and assists the customer in selecting MWDs.
Conducts training, presentations, and briefings with military customers and vendors.
Graduate of a military canine training course or civilian equivalent course (plus).
Conducts technical analysis of the customer’s MWD Handler/Trainer program in accordance with specifications and implementations.
Applies advanced principles, techniques, theories, and concepts to training programs.
Contributes to the development of new training principles and theories that are innovative and ingenious.
Works under consultative direction toward short- and long‑range MWD Handler/Trainer goals and objectives.
Develops advanced training ideas, guides their development into final products, and serves as the customer spokesperson on advanced MWD projects.
Acts as onsite representative to the military customer’s organization for their MWD Handler/Trainer program.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of dog handling/training experience.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Graduate of a military canine training course or civilian equivalent course (plus).
Secret Clearance required.
