What You Will Do As a Demand Planning Analyst

Provide and maintain operational demand forecast based on customer requirements (such as account level, style level, size level) based on gathering inputs from cross‑functional partners and applying historic trending analysis and insights.

Prepare and facilitate monthly cross‑functional demand forecast meetings with Sales, Finance, and Merchandising with focus on reaching consensus demand forecast to drive operational planning activities.

Assess constraints of demand forecast and supply match as it relates to shipment forecast through analysis of current order base, backorders, and flow of open supply WIP.

Analyze and report on metrics that impact the effectiveness of planning processes, such as forecast accuracy/bias, size curve trends, stockouts, aged orders, in order to drive improvements to service and financial performance targets.

Support line rationalization decisions through analysis of demand trends and SKU optimization.

Execute product line and style level forecast by loading data into current systems to ensure correct product mix for purchasing using forecasting software and tools.

Provide analysis and follow through for continuous improvements related, but not limited to, inventory, SKU efficiency, systems and process.

Perform analytical activities to support supply/demand matching and partner with business stakeholders on action plans to optimize product flow and fulfillment to customer.

Provide reporting to monitor and communicate KPIs.

Skills For Success

Years of Related Professional Experience: 3‑5 years

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience

Experience in finance, planning, or operations

Self‑starter with ability to work independently as well as collaborate across functions and levels of company

Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and presentation)

Must be able to manage projects and priorities in a dynamic environment

Excellent analytical skills and ability to develop and articulate insights and findings

High proficiency in MS Excel and high learning agility for systems and tools (Logility, Kinaxis, PowerBI, SQL a plus)

Must be detail oriented
