The Raw Material Forecast Specialist must be a motivated, self-starter who is detail oriented.
Job responsibilities include P&S Finance Raw Material Reporting, month-end actuals and forecasts, budgets and business plans, cash forecast, special projects, financial modeling of indexed material, and global analysis. Individual will also review proposed contract changes (contractual and discretionary) to ensure the appropriate level of analysis and scrutiny has been completed prior to granting approvals.
Individual will mostly be interacting with Purchasing Operations, Treasury, Finance, Accounting, and Manufacturing Group Accounting.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree
Minimum 8 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking; ability to translate complex data into robust financial models
Demonstrated strong written, interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Enjoy working with numbers, spreadsheets, and data as well as advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Preferred Requirements:
Master’s degree
Ability to present effectively to all levels of management
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and develop creative approaches to problem solving
Self-motivated, strong leader with ability to lead meetings with multiple disciplines
Influence different disciplines, team building and communication skills
