JOB SUMMARY Restoration Estimators work with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property. As an Estimator, you will be on scene after property disasters to accurately scope projects and sign work for our production teams to complete. You will build relationships with insurance professionals and communicate with property owners the expectations to rebuild to its original form.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Professionally represent the Paul Davis principles of honesty and integrity.
Meet all service standards set forth by the client or the company.
Estimate each loss using a 3rd‑party estimating software such as Xactimate or Symbility, and train on these tools as needed.
Utilize PDO QA for peer review.
Ensure each project achieves a minimum gross profit margin as determined by company standards.
Complete estimates within 24 hours of assignment.
Communicate and document any change orders and insurance supplements.
Build and maintain business relationships with insurance adjusters, brokers, and TPAs.
Be the first contact for homeowners when participating in the on‑call rotation.
Adhere to the PDO Health & Safety Program.
Meet a Net Promoter Score of a minimum monthly average of 70.
Close the loop 100% of the time within 24 hours.
All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of our main operating systems: RMS and Xactimate.
Excellent communication skills, able to converse with customers over the phone and face to face.
Sound planning and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license and a clean background check.
1 – 3 years in a professional setting.
Ability to work on call and irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
