Women in Cleantech and Sustainability is seeking skilled professionals to join our renewable energy semiconductor manufacturing team.
Technician – Maintenance Electrical/Controls I USA Location: Perrysburg, OH
Implements, tests, and maintains all manufacturing equipment controls.
Performs all necessary maintenance of equipment in a timely and cost‑efficient manner.
Assists in the installation and qualification of manufacturing equipment, troubleshoots day‑to‑day manufacturing issues, and identifies or implements system improvements that contribute to throughput, yield, and product performance goals.
Engineer – Controls I USA Location: Perrysburg, OH
Supports manufacturing operations by assisting with equipment implementation, startup, and the development of electrical controls systems and designs.
Program PLC/HMI, collects data, and optimizes manufacturing process control systems.
Works one AM shift (6:00 AM – 6:10 PM) on a rotating 36/48‑hour week schedule, including working every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Technician – Manufacturing Engineer I USA (C Crew) Location: Trinity, AL
Assists in the installation and qualification of systems.
Troubleshoots day‑to‑day manufacturing issues and implements system improvements that contribute to throughput, yield, and product performance goals.
Buyer I Location: New Iberia, LA
Obtains bids and places orders to standard terms and conditions based on approved internal purchase requisitions for supplies, materials, services, and equipment.
Negotiates pricing and delivery with vendors, supports the qualification of new suppliers, and plans inventory levels according to established guidelines and in a cost‑efficient manner.
Ensures purchasing orders are placed and deliveries are scheduled to meet production requirements.
Creates and/or maintains master data to support planning and purchase order execution.
Software Lead – Operations MES USA Location: New Iberia, LA
Evaluates, designs, and implements projects for controlling and interfacing with manufacturing processes.
Designs and develops related data visualization and user input systems, database structures, procedures, and reports.
Collaborates with MES architects and controls engineers to ensure seamless integration of solutions with MES hardware and software systems.
Provides execution system technical knowledge and resources to the MES development team.
Supports First Solar’s manufacturing execution systems, data architectures, and data collection.
Records and addresses manufacturing MES software issues and implements proactive measures to minimize downtime.
Directs MES Ops developer team in providing support and solutions for existing equipment on the production floor.
Drives and manages capacity‑expansion projects in existing and new plants.
Technician – Maintenance II USA (A Crew/AM Shift) Location: New Iberia, LA
Performs all necessary maintenance of the facility, equipment, and grounds in a timely and cost‑efficient manner.
