Most of the current pharmaceuticals only offer a one size fits all approach and often come with unwanted and potentially dangerous side effects. We found that through compounding we can offer a much more personalized solution to medicine. Through this we have been able to help patients get the results they are seeking for their personal needs. After years of working for corporate chains we took the risk and opened Strive Pharmacy. Position Type Full-Time, Overnight, Monday - Thursday, 8:00pm - 6:30am
Position Overview Packaging and preparing patient-specific prescription orders for shipment while upholding quality control and compliance according to Strive Pharmacies SOP's.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and packaging patient-specific cold, meltable, and room temperature orders for shipment
Communicating amongst departments to ensure any shipping changes are updated appropriately
Updating the team when shipping inventory is low on any items used within that department
Contributes to keeping the assembly and shipping areas clean
Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Required Skills
Previous shipping, packaging and handling experience is a plus, but not required
Previous experience in a pharmacy setting
Required Qualifications While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
