Position Overview
As a Solutions Leader on Duty you will ensure the efficient and effective operations of the Pet Care Center to meet the needs of the guest and their pet. Your responsibilities include managing the cash register, maintaining merchandise stock and pricing, and supporting the Pet Care Center’s business operations in line with Petco operational standards and safety procedures.
Position Responsibilities
Role model within our selling model and support guest interactions.
Maintain a strong interest in animal welfare.
Complete training programs to maintain high expertise.
Coach partners on guest‑centric programs (nutrition standards, animal sales, seasonal promotions, services) to meet and exceed sales targets.
Process register transactions to create a great guest experience.
Support the overall Omni Guest Experience through execution, training, and coaching (BOPUS, Loyalty Programs, Ship‑from‑store, Endless Aisle).
Lead on duty for supporting Pet Care Center execution, training, communication, and maintenance of company initiatives, pet care, legal compliance, policies, procedures, safety practices, and promotions.
Support replenishment and brand standards with the operations team within the Pet Care Center.
Promote a positive leadership culture of teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Proficiency in mathematics and above average communication skills.
Professional appearance and genuine interest in animals and their care.
Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Salary range: $68,900.00–$131,100.00 (current) #J-18808-Ljbffr
