The Commercial Client Service Specialist will be responsible for setup, ongoing maintenance and support of internet banking systems and Treasury products and services, including online and mobile banking, remote deposit capture, lockbox, merchant processing, electronic notices, electronic statements, and bill payment services. This position will document and maintain internet banking and Treasury Management products and services according to the bank’s policy and procedures. Working under general supervision, this role provides phone and email customer support and delivers a high level of quality service.

Essential Functions

Acts as Subject Matter Expert for Treasury products, services and systems.

Setup and maintenance of electronic banking services as requested by clients; including online banking, bill pay, eStatements, Remote Deposit Capture, Mobile apps, and other Treasury products, services or systems.

Provide support for successful implementation of Treasury Management Services for new clients as needed.

Provide support on Treasury products, services and systems to bank personnel as needed.

Perform testing of ACH file and Positive Pay issue file uploads (both CSV and NACHA formats) as needed.

Communicate with clients or their designees regarding testing, format changes, user setup and maintenance, and any system changes or updates as needed.

Perform installation, testing and ongoing support for Remote Deposit Capture clients.

Provide client training on various Treasury products as needed (remote or onsite).

Act as a liaison with various Treasury product vendors to facilitate implementation of products.

Assist with monitoring and coordinating system updates, enhancements, new releases as required.

Comply and accurately report all financial data as required by Management via various output reports and create specialized reports, spreadsheets, graphs, and charts as requested.

Maintain documents, files, and agreements, including document imaging system, as required by bank policy.

Participate in staff training assignments.

Participate on sales calls as needed.

Release testing for electronic banking applications as needed.

Adhere to bank policy and procedures.

Core Competencies

Deep knowledge of banking products and services, with a focus on commercial real estate, commercial banking, and private banking.

Knowledge of BSA, KYC, loan compliance, and internal audit standards.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Adequate computer skills, including proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and core banking systems.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or higher preferred.

One year of financial accounting experience or coursework required.

Treasury cash management experience is strongly preferred.

Proven strong service orientation and excellent customer service skills.

Understanding of the technical aspects of Treasury products, e.g., file formats, transaction flows, file transmissions, etc.

Strong organizational skills including effective time management in all key responsibilities of the job.

Able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.

Able to establish positive working relationships.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Able to work at a computer for extended periods of time.

Willing and able to spend significant amounts of time answering customer inquiries via phone and email.

Physical Requirement This position requires prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk while working on a computer.
