Floor & Decor
At Floor & Decor, we’re transforming spaces and careers across the country. The most exciting thing we’re building isn’t just floors—it’s a company without ceilings where dreamers, thinkers, and doers shape our future. With over 250 stores and counting, this is where ambition meets opportunity. Are you looking for new challenges? Let's build what's next.
Your Work Matters As a Project Manager, you’ll be the connective tissue between vision and execution—turning store concepts into physical, on-brand realities. Your work ensures new stores open on time, remodels land cleanly, and every reset reflects how customers actually shop. When this role is done well, teams stay aligned, budgets stay intact, and stores open ready—not rushed.
Your Day Consists Of
Owning end-to-end project workflows for new store openings, remodels, and resets—from scope and timelines to budgets and approvals
Translating the Visual Standards Guide into real-world execution, ensuring signage, POP, pricing, and merchandising standards are met in every assigned project
Building and managing executable project timelines across multiple departments, surfacing risks early and keeping milestones intact
Partnering closely with Capital Planning, Operations, and Finance to forecast spend, track budget-to-actuals, and course-correct when needed
Managing staffing calendars for Project Specialists and flagging resourcing gaps before they become bottlenecks
Documenting walks, meetings, and field updates clearly so teams stay aligned and decisions move forward without friction
You’ll Be Successful With
3+ years of project management experience, ideally within retail, merchandising, creative, or agency environments
Hands-on experience managing budgets, forecasts, and variance reporting across multiple concurrent projects
Comfort working inside project management software and building timelines that others can execute against
A sharp eye for detail paired with the confidence to raise red flags early and diplomatically
The ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment without losing momentum or clarity
Strong communication instincts—you follow up, document decisions, and keep teams moving forward
Work Environment / Physical Expectations
Primarily a sedentary role with extended periods of sitting, but occasional walking, standing, or light physical activity (lifting up to 20 lbs) may be needed.
Work is typically performed in a quiet to moderate office setting, with occasional exposure to active warehouse environments and moving equipment.
