Policy Owner Services Customer Service Representative MidFirst Bank is seeking energetic and reliable professionals for the Policy Owner Services Customer Service Representative role. LifeShield and its subsidiary, Individual Assurance Company (IAC), offer dynamic life and supplemental health insurance products for individuals, families, businesses, and associations. IAC specializes in Medicare Supplement and group life policy administration.

The primary function of this position is to answer incoming policy owner calls and use company policies and procedures to resolve customers’ questions. You will often be the first point of contact for policy holders, agents, and providers.

Responsibilities

Assist customers and agents in handling individual insurance inquiries via phone or email.

Issue and post premium receipts and invoices; update accounts with payment issues.

Process changes to policies accurately.

Multi‑task by speaking to customers while navigating the computer system.

Identify payment date inconsistencies and keep clients informed of outstanding debts and deadlines.

Process, maintain, and follow up on documents received through the document management system.

Provide solutions to any relative problems of internal and external clients, escalating more complex issues to management as needed.

Maintain performance standards.

Efficiently manage all other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.

1–3 years of office‑related experience and previous Medicare Supplement, health insurance, or call center experience preferred (but not required).

Basic computer skills, including maneuvering within multiple software programs and screens simultaneously.

Professional, articulate communication skills.

Strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills with the ability to make independent decisions.

Understanding and following established policies and procedures.

Ability to meet quality service standards.

Ability to adapt quickly to frequent changes and process added information efficiently.

Business Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm.
