What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Act as the primary resource for assigned high-profile providers, overseeing relationships and addressing complex issues
Monitor service capabilities and collaborate across functions to resolve escalated issues related to claims payment and contract interpretation
Perform credentialing support activities and educate providers on compliance with policies and procedures
Meet with key providers to ensure service levels meet expectations
Facilitate external provider meetings, managing agenda and validating materials
What is Required (Qualifications):
Working knowledge of business segment specific codes, products, and terminology
3-5 years' experience with business segment specific policy, benefits, plan design, and language
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and problem-resolution skills
Ability to optimize interactions with assigned providers and internal business partners
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
3+ years' experience in a business segment environment servicing providers, with exposure to benefits and/or contract interpretation
Knowledge of providers in the upstate New York market region
Preference for candidates residing in New York State
