Location & Shift Delavan, Wisconsin 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (2nd shift)
Responsibilities
Inspect finished products, raw materials, supplies, equipment, and facilities for adherence to quality specs, current practices and LEAN methodology.
Liaise with production to ensure projects are started, executed, and finished according to customer specifications.>
Communicate effectively/thoroughly to management and peers any test results or inspection findings outside of specifications.
Manage process, label and materials review, and QA documentation control for deviations to ensure defects are not reproduced.
Manage product hold and release system.
Identify non‑conformances in quality or practices and take or recommend appropriate corrective action within scope of knowledge. Conduct all testing and inspection with accuracy and integrity and ensure testing is accomplished in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education, training, and experience equivalent to an associate’s degree in quality, business, or similar field with a minimum of 3 years of directly related experience (preferably in plastics manufacturing). Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required, as is experience working with an ERP (Epicor CMS).
Proficiency with databases (e.g., MS Access) or other management applications.
Ability to build positive team relationships and achieve outcome‑oriented objectives; working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN Enterprise) with a holistic viewpoint.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, setting priorities and managing time effectively, and to work independently while managing job orders and deadlines and maintaining awareness of other business dependencies.
